At SiteRevision.com, we like to show off our work. We are about results and our clients' sites are the proof.
The Objective
When professional slipcover designer John French approached the Site Revision team to develop and promote his Slipcover Training Course Website, we jumped at the opportunity. John French, founder of French Slips, has been a professional slipcover designer for many years and has been featured in several well-known publications. The goal for his new website was to promote his comprehensive DVD & VHS video training courses on how to easily create fun and fashionable slipcovers. The e-commerce website required the following features:
- User-friendly design and navigation
- Comprehensive product information pages
- Sample MPEG Video of training videos
- Custom shopping cart ordering system
- Secure credit card integration
The Tools
Like many Site Revision projects, we utilized PHP for creating this site. PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development. Once the website was ready to launch, Site Revision promoted the site online through our various ongoing marketing programs such as Pay-Per-Click listings and organic search engine optimization.
The Results
The DIY Slipcovers business continues to grow and provide its students with informative instructional videos. Although we no longer develop or promote the DIY Slipcovers website, we were excited about the performance of the site and congratulate Mr. French on his success. We look forward to see what is in store for his business in the UK.
